Presentation day!

On Friday, in class, some of the groups presented their projects to the class. I think a total of three groups presented on Friday. Before presentations took place, Mr. Schick instructed the students to get into their groups and sit with them during the presentations. Dimitri and Evan's group went first, they brought in various snacks and drinks for the class to have. Some of the snacks were Feta cheese, figs, and bread. The drink they brought was grape juice. Dimitri was serving the food, while Evan and Maddie were presenting the actual project. They also built a colosseum; I think that it is what is was called. Then, I think, Haley's group went next, and they presented a video along with their project, which is what my group had done. The last group that went on that day, was Stefan's group. Overall, they had a lot of information and presented okay. During the presentations, each person from each group had to grade the presentation of each group. There are still two groups, including mine, that have to present. That is mostly all we did in class on Friday. 

Project preparation day 2

Today in class, Mr. Schick was not present to instruct us on what to do. But the students were fine, because he informed us ahead of time. So, every student knew what to work on for that time. I think that Mr. Schick told us that he was at a doctor’s appointment, so that's probably why he wasn't there. At first, the kids were confused on where to go, but then some of the students went to Mr. Del Puppo's room, and we ended up staying in there for the rest of the time. Before we went to his classroom, the substitute teacher unlocked Mr. Schick's door to his classroom, and we went in there, because the kids needed to see when they were presenting, even though, my group already knew when we were presenting. During the class time that we had, our group, again, was already finished everything except the videos. One of our group members was back, from being sick for two days. We tried to film the videos during that time, but we couldn't because we have to wait after school. That is mostly all that we did today in class. 

Project preparation day

Today in class, Mr. Schick instructed that we prepare and or work on our projects about Greece. At the beginning of class, the teacher refreshed us on what was happening in the next couple days. Of course, today was a preparation day, tomorrow will also be the last prep day, before presentations start. On Wednesday, we will not have class, therefore, we will start the presentations on Friday, which I don't thinks all the groups/teams will be able to present. I think only two groups will be able to present, maybe three, but I'm not sure. Then Mr. Schick informed us the order the groups will be presenting, while each group was working. Our group was assigned third to present. Finally, we got into our groups and started working on the things that we needed to do. Fortunately, our group was done the paper, and slide presentation, so we didn't have anything to do. Unfortunately, one of the members in our group was not present today, but we didn't really need this member anyway. The only thing that our group has to do is, record the videos of each sport that we used for our presentation and such. That is mostly all we did today in Western Civilization.
